White fused alumina is produced by melting alumina powder at high temperatures, resulting in a white material. It is slightly harder than brown fused alumina but slightly less tough. White fused alumina features stable product quality, uniform particle size distribution, low magnetic substance content, high bulk density, high hardness, good toughness, and high cleanliness. When used in refractory materials, its features include: low sodium content, high purity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, and the ability to improve strength and volume stability. Abrasive tools made from it are suitable for grinding high-carbon steel, high-speed steel, quenched steel, and other materials. It can be used as a grinding and polishing material, and can also be used as precision casting sand, spray coating material, chemical catalyst carrier, special ceramics, and more.
As a coated abrasive, white fused alumina is a material with strong erosion and grinding performance. Due to its sharp, angular particle structure, it does not clog during grinding and is suitable for sanding various soft materials (wood, plastic), etc. White fused alumina also demonstrates excellent properties in the electrostatic field.
